Fit Friend Friday: The Quarantine Questions - Chan Boon Sheng
This Friday our fit friend is Chan Boon Sheng. A Spartan Race veteran who has been taking part in OCR since 2017 Chan Boon has recently decided to dial in his training and commit to a plan. As a regular name on the leaderboard for our weekly and monthly challenges we’re pleased to have Chan Boon use our programs to nail his workouts. We can’t wait to see him collect more podiums when the race season starts up again soon!
Fit Friend Friday: The Quarantine Questions - Ashley Robles
There’s no better way to start your Spartan journey than by diving in at the deep end, which is exactly what Ashley did by taking on the Beast at Tahoe in 2017. Ashley has raced competitively in her Age-Group and hit the podium before COVID-19 hit. She has used the time during cancelled races to train hard and spend time focussing on what matters. We’re excited to see how this will pay off when competitive races start back up soon!

Fit Friend Friday: The Quarantine Questions - Olga Prokazova
Like many of us here in Singapore; Olga’s first race was in Tampines back in 2017. Since then she’s dedicated herself to becoming an SGX coach and personal trainer, working with Team Endoxos to bring Spartan and fitness to the community. Olga is a complete badass, awesome athlete and one of the kindest people we know. When we get back to racing later in the year we know we’ll see Olga topping podiums and supporting racers around the course!
Fit Friend Friday: The Quarantine Questions - Chris Davis
Chris began his racing career in 2012 and found Spartan in October of 2016. Since then he’s been a constant and consistent presence on the Elite race scene all around Asia Pacific. As a member of the Spartan Pro Team in Hong Kong and regular presence amongst the top 5 elites and on podiums in OCR and multiple other sports, Chris is continuing to keep healthy and crush his training program during the Pandemic. With a positive outlook and strong work ethic, we can’t wait to see Chris smash his goals and collect more hardware when races return.
Fit Friend Friday: The Quarantine Questions - Zaidah Dollie
Zaidah is a Spartan South Africa ambassador and has multiple podiums in the Age-Group category who’s determination and drive to be better impresses us every day. Zaidah has been taking part in our weekly workout challenge, having to get up early to complete the sessions before beginning her fast each day. Zaidah has found a way to train smart through injury and we can’t wait to see her race again when restrictions are lifted.
Fit Friend Friday: The Quarantine Questions - Melissa Barron
Mel is one of the most positive, cheery spartans we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and we loved toeing the age group start line with her and seeing her out on course. Never shying away from a challenge, Mel took on the 2019 World Championships at Lake Tahoe despite the frigid temperatures and she’s a continual source of inspiration for us and for those who, under normal conditions, train with her in the Penang Warriors.
